We are looking for a Back-end developer to join our team of consultants.

What you will do

We are looking for a Back-end developer with object-oriented development and analytical skills who has the ability to prioritize, plan and take ownership of their work. You are comfortable working under tight deadlines and can work independently as well as collaborate effectively with others.

You will be working onsite 5 days a week with our clients in Stockholm. You will also benefit from Norla’s company culture. Typically, you will be on an assignment for a perdiod depending on the project and how you feel about it. It is important for us to match you to assignments that you are passionate about and where you can feel challenged.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a team member with development and analytical skills.

A Back-end developer who:

  • Demonstrates knowledge in distributed backend development
  • Has the ability to design, develop and deploy backend services focusing on high availability, low latency and scalability
  • Has the ability to reason about CAP for given use cases
  • Can operate at a strategic level within the organization to address scalability issues
  • Has experience of working in high transactional environments, with an understanding of how physical resources i.e i/o, CPU memory affects software design
  • Has hands-on experience in developing microservices
  • Can maintain and improve data pipelines
  • Has a solid knowledge around best practices and patterns for modern API design
  • Has a good understanding of internet protocols i.e UDP, TCP, HTTP

We would like you to have the following requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience working as a Back-end developer
  • Documented experience working with GIT
  • Experience working with the following technologies: PHP, MySQL, XML, Rest API, Magento or Magento 2, Object oriented Programming, JavaScript, GraphQl, Azure, Java, Node, Python, Go
